Who is responsible for data processing?
Alexia Olona, independent translator (Translation Spirit / Velaine Studio), SIREN 522 042 324, France. Contact: contact form.
What data is collected on this site?
- Order form: name, email address, the content of the "notes" field (desired turnaround, particularities of the pattern…), the points system where applicable, and the pattern file itself, submitted so the requested translation can be carried out.
- Automatic price estimate: when the file is uploaded, before the order is confirmed, it is also subject to temporary processing used to determine its word count and the pricing tier that applies; this one-off analysis does not keep a copy of the file beyond the calculation.
- IP address: recorded briefly, solely to limit abusive uploads (number of uploads per day), and not for tracking or profiling purposes.
For what purposes and on what legal basis?
This data is used to process your quote or order request, establish the price and delivery date, communicate with you during the service, and deliver the translation. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request, then performance of the translation contract. The limit on the number of uploads per IP address rests on the legitimate interest in preventing abusive use of the form.
How long is this data kept?
Order information is kept for as long as necessary to carry out the service, then for the period required by the accounting and tax obligations applicable to micro-entreprises. A pattern file uploaded for an estimate is deleted immediately after the analysis. The anti-abuse counters per IP address are kept for only a few days.
Who has access to this data?
Alexia Olona, alone, in the course of her activity as an independent translator. No data is sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. A technical subcontractor (site hosting) may have technical access to the hosted data, under the conditions set out by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Hosting information to be specified when the site goes live publicly.
